The white \u003cstrong\u003e2015\u003c\/strong\u003e Los Corrillos is a multi-vineyard, multi-grape blend of Calagraño with 10% each Viura and Malvasía Riojana; these grapes are from four plots in Viñaspre ranging from 40 to 100 years of age. The full clusters were foot trodden in a plastic bin; the wine was with the skins for around five days and then it was transferred to a chestnut vat where it finished fermenting and aged for five months, with all the lees and without racking. So this is a mini-orange wine, with some skin-contact character, waxy and leesy aromas intermixed with some pollen and white flowers. The palate shows the roundness of the vintage and some fine tannins, a white to stand to white meat dishes. 928 bottles and eight magnums were filled in March 2016.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"producer-note-content\"\u003eI went to Viñaspre to visit some of Roberto Oliván's vineyards to get a better understanding of his wines. He works a myriad of tiny plots with very old vines, some of which are almost dying and many plants are missing, so yields are tiny.
