"There was a note of nutmeg and black pepper in the 2021 Maduresa, which was produced with a blend of 75% Monastrell, 15% Cariñena and 5% each Mandó and Arcos. It fermented with 30% full clusters and indigenous yeast in stainless steel and went through malolactic and 12 months of aging in 225- and 500-liter French oak barrels. It has a moderate 13.5% alcohol and good freshness, with ripe berries and herbs and abundant, slightly dusty tannins. 20,000 bottles produced. It was bottled in December 2022.
